Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the independent provider that operates that search experience. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Our host may create routine logs containing an IP address, browser type, page request, and time of access. We review aggregate activity to operate and improve the service. Cookies or related tools can support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use this information to run the service, address technical issues, measure traffic, and improve the pages. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Resources
Links lead to County and South Carolina portals, library collections, archives, and independent search services. The privacy terms of the destination govern material submitted there, including information submitted through sponsored results.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process site logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners can receive the technical information described above. We disclose information only when a valid legal process requires disclosure.
Safeguards
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or on-site profiles to expose.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if you believe a minor sent us information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Because this service keeps very little, we can review the contact mailbox and relevant logs for a request sent through the Contact page. South Carolina public records held by state, County, or municipal offices are outside our control. For those records, contact the custodian and use the applicable process under the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, S.C. Code Ann. tit. 30, ch. 4, or another controlling law.
Changes to This Policy
We will post revisions here. Continued use after a revision takes effect indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
